IKTF uses image recognition to identify famous and public figures. Point your camera at a face, whether on the telly, a billboard, a poster, or upload a photo, and IKTF tells you who they are, why you recognise them, and their background.

IKTF is available for iPhone on the App Store and for Android on Google Play. Just download, allow camera access, and you're ready to scan.

Famous and public figures only: actors, musicians, athletes, TV presenters and the talent you see in adverts, on billboards and on posters. IKTF is designed for people already in the public eye and does not identify private individuals or members of the public.

IKTF matches against a vast, constantly growing database and returns the most confident result it can, usually in a couple of seconds. A clear, well-lit, front-facing photo always gives the best match. Results are best-effort, so do double-check anything important.

Absolutely. Snap a fresh photo with the live camera, or upload any image from your gallery, like a screenshot from last night's telly, a snap of a poster, anything with a clear face will do.

A few things can affect a match: the photo may be blurry, poorly lit or at an awkward angle, or the person may not be a recognised public figure. Try a clearer, front-facing image. If a famous face still isn't recognised, let us know and we'll look into it.

IKTF is built to identify public figures, not to track you. Scans are used to return your result and saved to your own private history. We don't sell your data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

No. We only scan public figures, never private individuals, by design, to stay compliant with applicable privacy laws and regulations. Using IKTF to try to identify members of the public is against our Terms of Service.

You can delete individual scans in the app, or remove your whole account and data from Settings → Account → Delete account. You can also email a request. See our Account & Data Deletion page for full steps.

Subscriptions are billed by the app stores. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep premium until the end of the current period.

Refunds are handled by the app stores rather than us directly. Request one through Apple or Google's purchase support, and reach out to us if you need a hand.
